Madukkarai police and members of the public paid floral tributes to the policemen who lost their lives while on dury in Coimbatore district. The event was held in view of Police Martyrs' Day.
October 21st is observed as Police Martyrs' Day every year. Tributes are being paid to the policemen who lost their lives while on duty in the Coimbatore district throughout the month of October.
As part of this, police including Madukkarai Inspector Murugesan and Sub-Inspectors paid floral tributes to the deceased cops' portraits.
Public also offered their tribute.
This was followed by cultural programmes by school students and drama artists.
