New Delhi: Union Minister Smriti Irani tests positive for Covid-19 infection, on Wednesday.
New Delhi: Amid intense Bihar poll campaign, Union Minister, Smriti Irani, on Wednesday tweeted that she had tested positive for Covid-19 infection.
On her official Twitter handle, the Union Minister of Textiles, Women & Child Development, Smriti Irani requested anyone who has met her in recent times to get tested for the novel coronavirus infection. She was one among BJP’s star campaigner for the Bihar Assembly Elections. Several BJP leaders have wished her speedy recovery.
Earlier, Devendra Fadanavis, the BJP’s Bihar in-charge, had also confirmed of contracting the virus and Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi has been admitted to the Patna AIIMS after getting positive results of corona test.
Overall, the national tally of Coronavirusis nearing 80 lakh cases.
