Before the 'Covid- 19' virus outbreak, Air India Express was operating a flight on the Delhi-Coimbatore-Singapore route and vice versa. Since the situation in the domestic sector has started to return to normalcy, Air India Express has announced that the above service would be resumed but this time around, the service would be provided only between Coimbatore and Delhi.
Accordingly, Flight IX 0014 will start from Delhi at 9:55 am and reach Coimbatore at 12:55 pm. On the return leg, flight IX 0013 will start from Coimbatore at 2:05 pm and reach Delhi at 5:15 pm. The service Will be provided on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Air India Station Manager, Girija said, "Yes, this is the same flight which was providing the service to Singapore. At present as only domestic service is permitted, the flight will operate between Coimbatore and Delhi. We don't know whether the service to Singapore will be provided after the international flight services resume."
Kongu Global Forum (KGF) Director, D. Nanda Kumar said, "We welcome the initiative by Air India Express in restarting its service between Coimbatore and Delhi. The service should be extended to Singapore once international flights resume service."
