Migrant worker drowns to death in Sirumugai near Mettupalayam

Coimbatore: Suresh Quaran (35) from West Bengal was working as a gardner at Sirumugai near Mettupalayam.


Coimbatore: Suresh Quaran (35) from West Bengal was working as a gardner at Sirumugai near Mettupalayam.

On the day of the incident, he went to bathe in Bhavani River passing through Alangulam. While bathing, he unexpectedly fell into the water and drowned to death.

Sirumugai police have registered a case and are investigating.
