Coimbatore: Valparai Municipality staff spruce up vehicles and burst crackers for Ayudha Puja celebrations
Coimbatore: Ayudha Puja was celebrated in Valparai under the directions of Commissioner Dr. Paunraj. Valparai Municipality Manager Nanjundan, OSR Sivakumar, and Electrical Engineer Suresh led the celebrations.
Vehicles in the municipality were spruced up and decked with garlands. Firecrackers were burst as part of celebrations.
More than 150 people including municipal officials, sanitary workers and drivers participated.
All those who attended the event were served lunch. The decorated vehicles then went on a procession around Valparai.
