In a similar vein, a yoga exercises programme has been launched as part of several measures to bust the stress of police officials who have been involved in coronavirus preventive work for the past 7 months.
A one-day yoga training camp for police officials in the Karumathampatti police limits in Coimbatore district was conducted this morning at a private wedding hall in Somanur area.

More than 80 male and female guards attended the exercise, which was conducted from 7 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. The programme was inaugurated by Karumathampatti DSP Police Suryamoorthy. During the training, police officers provided advice on how to reduce stress, maintain good relations with the public and deal with crises.
It is to be noted that the yoga training that was conducted online for the police due to the COVID-19 situation is now being offered in person again.
