The death toll in the state touched 10,858, with 33 more deaths being reported, the State media bulletin confirmed.
Tamil Nadu’s capital has been the worst affected district in the state with 844 cases being reported today. The other districts to report more cases were Coimbatore (280), Chengalpattu (186) and Salem (185).
As many as 4,262 people recovered from the infection today, and the total recoveries now stand at 6,59,432.
