Lottery tickets from Kerala sized, cash confiscated, one arrested

On receiving a tip-off on sale of lottery tickets, the Variety Hall road police set a frantic search in the city to nab people involved in the trade. While patrolling in Selvapuram, the police found suspicious on a person. 

Upon interrogation, the suspect was identified as Srinivasan (41) son of Kanadasan. The police found lottery tickets from the neighbouring Kerala state that were for sale and Rs. 30,750 cash was seized from Srinivasan. A case has been filed against Srinivasan and arrested him.
