CCTV footage helps to nab robbery at a private firm.

Yesterday, at a private firm in Ramnagar a theft of Rs. 55,000 was reported by the firm's manager at the Kattoor police station. 

Arun, from Tirunelveli works as a load man at the concern. On the day of theft, unaware of the CCTV surveillance Arun stole Rs. 55,000 from the locker. When Savithri, Manager of the concern arrived to retrieve the cash, she was shell-shocked to notice the missing cash. The issue was immediately escalated to the Kattoor police station, who on scrutinizing the CCTV footages nabbed Arun for his theft. The cash worth Rs. 55,000 was recovered from him and was remanded in the Court, today.
