Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC), Commissioner, Dr. Vdijay Karthikeyan chaired the Smart City Management Committee meeting this morning. This meeting was hosted at the CCMC premises. Representatives of the various Smart City projects participated in this meeting.
At this meeting, it was discussed that the various special schemes that have been sanctioned will be implemented. Sanganoor clean-up project, underground drainage project and the construction of the Vellalore bus stand will be implemented.
Corporation Commissioner, Dr. Vijay Karthikeyan also spoke in detail of the multi-level parking facility that will be implemented in our city in multiple locations. In this regard, the Corporation Commissioner visited DB Road in RS Puram, Cross Cut Road in Gandhipuram and Big Bazaar Street in Town Hall. He also visited Mettupalayam Road, Trichy Road, Avinashi Road and Textool Bridge. He was accompanied by the Regional Finance Manager on his visit.
