Coimbatore : The ten-day-long Aadi Kundam festival of the renowned Amman Shrine Vana Badrakali Amman temple at Mettupalayam which commenced on July 23rd culminated with spectacular fireworks
The main event of the festival, wherein devotees walk on the fire pit was held on July 30th.

Over 10,000 devotees participated in the festival. Devotees offered Maa Vilaku (Rice flour lamp) and worshipped the Goddess. The ten-day Kundam festival concluded today with the spectacular show of fireworks.

Goddess Vana Badrakali was carried in a horse-drawn vehicle in procession for the devotees to worship. Spectacular fireworks lasted for about half an hour, and a large number of devotees witnessed the spectacular show.
