Thousands of patients visit the hospital for treatment to the Tirupur GH from Tirupur and other neighbouring regions.
The Ladies Association members who reviewed the hospital services and submitted a detailed report on the same to the hospital superintendent.
In the report, it was mentioned that even though medical treatment provided is good but felt disappointed that the nurses and helpers in the hospital behaved rudely with the patients. The report also suggested that security staff also looked down upon the visitors and abused them.
They have complained that the cleanliness in the pediatric ward is not up to the mark and they are forced to pay in the wound dressing ward.
They had also complained that they are forced to pay up to Rs. 500 in the labour ward when a baby is born and are also forced to pay while getting discharged. The report by the Ladies Association included all these concerns and requested the Hospital authorities to take remedial action.
