The 25 Corporation School students visited the CCMC Commissioner at his office. The Assistant Commissioner of CCMC, Prasanna Ramasamy was also present.
Nine students from the Peelamedu Corporation School, 11 from Ranganathapuram Corporation School, one student each from the Rathnapuri Corporation School, Ramakrishnapuram Corporation School, Ramanathapuram Corporation School, North Coimbatore Corporation School, Okkiliyar Colony Corporation School were chosen. All 25 students and three teachers will be visiting the ISRO Centre in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on August 10. The group will visit the museum and also understand the functioning of the rocket and activities of an artificial satellite at the ISRO Centre.
Aram foundation charitable trust and HCL in collaboration with CCMC has initiated this project to develop the smart school strategy in six corporation schools and one government school.
A Lakshmanan, Corporation Engineer, Pazhani, Corporation Educational Officer, Latha Sundaram, Administrator of ARAM Trust, Madhavan, Karthik, Udhay, Administrator of HCL Trust and teachers were present during this meet at the CCMC Commissioner's office.
