Coimbatore: Doctors across the nation are protesting against the decisions made by the Nation Medical Association.

As part of the protest, doctors in Coimbatore Government Hospital pinned a black ribbon on their uniforms as a symbol of protest. Students from the medical college located near Hopes also protested by pinning black ribbons on their attire as they came out of their classes to show their discontent.

Over 300 students formed a human chain protest in front of the college and raised slogans against the exit examination.
Students Sanjeevitha and Navjajerin opined that the exit examination was unnecessary and it was high time that the National Medical Commission revised their decisions.
