Arokiaraj, father of the child submitted a plea to the Nilgiris MP A. Raja requesting the government to help them financially to meet the medical expenses of their ailing child.
The Nilgiris MP forwarded the petition to the Prime Minister's office recommending to consider the plea. Responding to the plea, the PMO has sanctioned Rs. 3 lakhs from the Prime Minister's relief fund for treating the child.
The family of the child have expressed their gratitude to the MP and the PMO for their timely help.
