Residents of Chandrapuram urge to remove political flags from their area

Tirupur: Over 200 families residing in Chandrapuram in Tirupur jointly petitioned the District Collector on Monday to remove all political flag posts from their area.

Tirupur: Over 200 families residing in Chandrapuram in Tirupur jointly petitioned the District Collector on Monday to remove all political flag posts from their area. 



Citing the recent tussle between two political outfits in connection to the flag posts, the residents requested Collector, K.S. Palanisamy to order to remove all political flag posts from their area. 

The petitioners stated that claiming ownership of flag posts, the cadres of political outfits create restlessness among the residents.
