Coimbatore : The Coimbatore of Contractors Welfare Association (CCCA) are all set to celebrate their silver jubilee event in a grand manner on Sunday. Minister S.P, the chief guest for the event will be releasing a manual on construction and requirements.

Corporation Commissioner, Sravan Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, Prasanna Ramasamy, Anbarasan, Chairman of Nallaram Trust, Vijay TV fame Neeya - Naana Gopinath will be taking part in the event.
At a press gathering here on Saturday, CCCA, District President, Udayakumar and Secretary Chandra Prakash apprised that the 25th anniversary celebrations will be held tomorrow at a private hotel on Avinashi Road. Minister of Municipal Administration, Rural Development and Special Programs, S.P Velumani will be releasing a manual on construction requirements and association activities for the upcoming years.
"There are over 250 contractors in CCMA. Every year, tender works estimating Rs. 1,200 crores are carried out. At present, tenders can be obtained only through online, hence for large tenders the funding process is delayed", said the President of CCMA.
Treasurer Ammachaiyappan, Vice President Rajagopal, Deputy Secretary Michael, Deputy treasurer Selvaraj and other members of CCCA were present during the press meet.
