Based on the complaint received on the multi-crore scam in issuing house site approvals by the Panchayat, the DVAC sleuths scrutinized the filed, which were later seized.
Allegations of corruption involving in a many crores for issuing house site approvals was levelled against Chikkadasampalayam panchayat in Karamadai panchayat union Apart from approvals complaints were registered on the panchayat issuing fake house tax receipts to the taxpayers and officials indulging in massive corruption.
The suspected files from the year 2011 to 2017 were seized and taken to the Coimbatore office for further investigation.
The police officials said that only after scrutinizing the files, the details on who all were involved in the scam and large scale corruption would come to light.
