The book festival which commenced from July 19th had various programs scheduled for each day
On the 7th day of the book festival Saba Foundation organised Kannadasan music concert. The songs, which were written by Kavignar Kannadasan and sung by ace singers K.J Yesudas and S.P.Balasubramaniam were played out on the occasion.
The background of the songs in which they were written, the lyrical quality of the melodies and its unique features were compiled by the poet Maranbin Maindan Muthiah.
The songs which were sung by M.J Sriram, Bipin, Vanathi Sree and Sabitha were displayed on the LED screen.
Thousands of visitors enjoyed the immortal songs by great composers M.S Viswanathan and Illaiyaraja.
