Lawrence Mohan had a tiff with Prakash (33) an employee of Bajaj Finance Ltd over a vehicle parking issue, following which he along with 20 of his cronies, barged at latter’s office and brutally attacked Prakash.
Even though Police securitized the CCTV footages, no action was taken on that front.
In the meanwhile, the kins of the affected, armed with the CCTV footages obtained from the crime spot as evidence for the attack laid a siege at the B-1 Police Station demanding action against Lawrence Mohan and his cronies.
Later they petitioned the District Superintendent of Police as the B-1 station policemen delayed the arrest of the accused even after registering an FIR in the case.
Following the incident, AIADMK party's Coordinator O.Panneerselvam and Co-coordinator Edappadi K. Palaniswami announced that Lawrence Mohan is expelled from the party and is no longer a basic member of the party.
