The Nilgiris : To mark the Kargil War Memorial Day, a mini marathon was organised in the Nilgiris at the Thangaraj Memorial Ground. The participants of the Junior category aged between 11-15 ran a distance of 3 kms while the Seniors aged between 16-25 ran a distance of 4 kms, while Super Seniors, both male and female above 25 years of age, ran a distance of 5 kms.
