Coimbatore : At the weekly grievance day held at the City Corporation office on Wednesday, 93 petitions were submitted by the public, out of which four petitioners were given immediate redressal.

Public from various locations living within the City Corporation limits thronged the Corporation office at Town Hall to submit petitions on various basic facilities like drinking water, street lights, road facilities and sanitation.

Deputy Commissioner, Prasanna Ramasamy headed the meeting in which on the spot redressal was given to petitioners requesting name change in certificate and requests for garbage removal in their ward.
Out of the 93 petitions, 22 petitions were from east zone, 11 from west zone, 25 from North zone, 10 from south zone and 22 from central zone.

All the petitioners were assured of quick action, the DC ordered the concerned authorities to take immediate action on the petitioners.

City Engineer, A. Lakshmanan, Assistant Commissioners - T. Ravi, Saravanan, Annadurai, Mohana Sundari, Senthil Arasan, Selvan, Mahesh Kanagaraj, Urban development officer (planning), Ravichandran, District Welfare Officer Santhosh Kumar were present.
