The Nilgiris : Various events including blood donation camp was held at the Wellington Cantonment on Wednesday, as a part of the Kargil Memorial Day.
The blood donation camp was inaugurated by the Madras Regimental Chairman, Brigadier Pankaj and was headed by the Chief Executive Officer of Wellington Cantonment, Pooja B. Balicha.
"The events are held to commemorate the Kargil victory, 20 years ago. We dedicate the celebrations to the soldiers", said M. Bharathiar, Vice President of Wellington Cantonment.
