On Wednesday, a bear along with its cub was seen crossing the road to Alakkarai in Coonoor into a residential colony. The passersby clicked photos and were left in shock to see the bear straying into a residential area in broad daylight.
After half hour, the bear and the cubs entered the tea estates again. This incident caused panic in the region.
