With the trust vote scheduled at 6 pm on Tuesday, Bengaluru Police Commissioner Alok Kumar announced Sec 144 in Bengaluru for 48 hours, starting 6 pm on Tuesday, 23 July.
Though prohibitory orders were initially in place around the Vidhana Soudha building complex, it has now been extended to the entire city.
All pubs, wine shops will be closed till 25th. Violators will be punished, said the Commissioner.
