Former students of Govt.schools stage protests demanding free lap tops in Tirupur

Tirupur : Even many Higher Secondary students across Tamil Nadu who studied in 2017-18 batch 2018-19 batches in various schools have not been given the free laptops under the Government scheme many of them are staging protests demanding the same.

Tirupur : Even many Higher Secondary students across Tamil Nadu who studied in 2017-18 batch 2018-19 batches in various schools have not been given the free laptops under the Government scheme many of them are staging protests demanding the same.



Students of Vijayapuram Government School, KSC Government School and Chinnasamy Ammal Government School in Tirupur who studied in the old batches protested in front of their schools.



“Even though the Government is distributing laptops to the present batch of 12th standard students the two earlier batches of students have not been extended the freebie laptops” the students said.

Police intervened and asked the students to approach the school authorities to sort out the issue.
