While addressing the media later Minister Sellur Raju said that the co-operative department has been doing well since the late Chief minister Jayalalithaa’s tenure at the office.
While noting that all the misdeeds of DMK period has been rectified and the department is doing extremely well now, the minister also took pot shots at the functioning of the DMK, the main opposition party.
Alleging that DMK, the main opposition party is functioning as the “property of Kalaignar” and no longer could it be a party for the “Anna supporters” Sellur Raju said that “all the top positions are being held by the Kalaignar's family members for now”
“The ADMK supporters will not accept Stalin's invitation to join DMK, the minister said and added “the ADMK will win the by-election In Vellore parliamentary constituency under the leadership of CM Edappadi Palanisamy”
He also opined that people will no longer believe Stalin's false promises and said ADMK is confident of winning Vellore election.
