Kovai Kuttralam remains closed due to rain

Coimbatore: Following continuous rain and flash floods, officials of the Boluvampati Forest Range has decided to keep tourism at Kovai Kuttralam closed for the third consecutive day today.


Coimbatore: Following continuous rain and flash floods, officials of the Boluvampati Forest Range has decided to keep tourism at Kovai Kuttralam closed for the third consecutive day today.

The closure was initially announced on Saturday due to rain and it was extended the next day. The facility remained closed on Monday, which was a weekly maintenance day.

Since the water level did not reduce, the facility has been closed again on Tuesday. It would be open depending upon the water level in the coming days.
