Delay in Chandrayaan 2 will have no impact on mission: Mylswamy Annadurai

Coimbatore : Vice President of the Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology Agency, Mylswamy Annadurai said that the delay of two weeks in the launch of Chandrayaan 2 space rocket will not have any impact on the mission.


Coimbatore : Vice President of the Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology Agency, Mylswamy Annadurai said that the delay of two weeks in the launch of Chandrayaan 2 space rocket will not have any impact on the mission. 

Speaking on the sideline of the inauguration of Science exhibition conducted by the Computer Science department in a private college in Kuniyamuthur today, he said the country is able to make the space rocket at a much lower cost than any other countries. The world is astonished and looking forward up to our researchers, who are able to produce effective missile technology. 

He said though we have embarked on space exploration 40 years behind others, the country has received huge appreciation from the world over for our work. 

"Our country is the only country that has accurately discovered the existence of water on the moon. Thus, at present 70 countries are looking for us in missile making and the have advanced to the point of producing 20 missiles simultaneously. Chandrayaan is going to do two great things. Chandrayaan 2 is another landmark in the aerospace industry and the largest in the world. This has added further benefits to the ongoing research. If we use the brains of our scientists properly, we can have a great place in the world", he opined. 

He also added that educational institutions must prepare students to meet the needs of the community. Likewise, to establish the progress of students. He advised to think beyond classrooms and work towards the target achieve success.
