In May 2018, Ramachandran a tea shop owner in Keeranatham was arrested for murdering his neighbour Gopi, a Cable Operator for having extra marital affair with his wife. Even after warning him, Gopi continued his affair with Ramachandran's wife.
In a fit of rage, Ramachandran invited Gopi to a TASMAC bar and murdered him.
The case was ongoing at the District Court here. The justice today pronounced life term and Rs. 1000 as fine. The accused was later remanded in Coimbatore central prison.
