CM Edappadi Palaniswamy confident of AIADMK winning in Vellore LS constituency

While addressing the reporters, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami said that the chances of AIADMK winning in the Vellore Lok Sabha elections are bright and accused that DMK has cheated people like how children are cheated with promise of candy. He also questioned the opposition party as to what will be their promise to people now. CM asked DMK that the promises the party made before elections was not fulfilled after elections and questioned what promises will they make.

When asked about actor Surya talking about education policy, he said that everyone has a position to give their opinion on everything. CM Edappadi K. Palaniswami assured that all arrangements are being made for the devotees who visit the Kanchipuram Athi Varadar Darisanam and said that a meeting would be held for the same. He also said that Tamil Nadu's Chief Secretary and the DGP are scheduled to visit Kanchipuram tonight to make necessary arrangements.

He noted that TN govt is making arrangements for the unexpected flocks of people who visit the Athi varadar temple. He also said that roofs were set up so that pilgrims will not suffer from the sun, rain, rainwater, medical facilities, walk-in, medical facilities and bus stations at 3 locations were set up. The temple has been provided with adequate police personnel, he said. When asked about the TN govt's position in the NIA amendment, he said that the law should be correct and that any govt would come up with a law to protect the people. "It's good that Tik Tok app is being banned," said CM and added "Youngsters are not aware of the tragedy related with this app. At times apart from affecting others, it causes death, and requested youngsters to avoid using such kind of apps.
