Activist Traffic Ramasamy, who happens to pass by entered into an argument with the BJP members and asked them to remove the flex which obviously was kept without permission. There was a commotion in the area due to this and the Police reached the spot and deliberated with Traffic Ramasamy.
However, Traffic Ramasamy insisted that the flex banner was removed.
He also alleged that the police do not fine those who are not in the habit of wearing helmets.
Later the activist reached the Police Commissioner's office and made a formal complaint about the violation of such rules.
