Coimbatore : The affected job seekers who have been duped by an employment services firm functioning at Ganapathy had petitioned the District Collector asking him to intervene to get back their deposits, which they paid to the firm owners.

According to the affected job seekers, the couple Prince Daniel, and Shushma Daniel were running the firm and collected Rs.2 lakh deposit each from job seekers after promising to get them plush jobs in Singapore, Malaysia and European countries.
Following the long wait for months the job seekers approached the firm owners to return the deposits as no work orders were issued to them till then.
However Prince Daniel, who refused to return the money allegedly threatened them with dire consequences as he is holding an important post in the Nilgiris Rajini Fan association.
Following which the affected parties petitioned the Collector seeking to intervene and help get back their hard-earned money.
According to the job seekers, over 300 of them were duped and Rs.6 Crore has been collected from them after promising jobs.
