Tirupur : A man working in a dyeing unit of a garment company died on the spotnon Thursday, after he accidentally fell into a tank filled with dyeing wastes.
Pradeep Kumar from Karnataka was working as a labourer at a dyeing unit in Mannarai in Tirupur. Today, while he was sitting on a tank in which dyeing wastes were accumulated, he accidentally fell into the tank and died.
Though the tank was said to be only 5 feet deep, the toxic substances in the tank killed him on the spot, leaving the efforts of the co-workers to revive him in vain.
Tirupur police (North) retrieved his body and sent for post mortem examination.
