Coimbatore : Kattoor police are on the lookout for the owner of a building in Ramnagar here from which the 30-year-old cannonballs were seized, today.
According to police, the cannonballs were used in Indian army before 30 years and it was found in an from a dilapidated building at Ramnagar here.
The police who went to investigate an incident of an attempt to axe sandalwood trees in the area stumbled upon the cannonballs when they searched the premises of an old building in the vicinity.
They are on the lookout for Ramji, the owner of the building. Bomb disposal squad members arrived at the scene and seized the cannonballs.
