While addressing the media, Thirumozhi, President of the movement said “The movement would strive hard to uphold the values of Tamil nationalism and fight against divisive forces who are trying to oppress it."
“The movement is being launched to fight, casteist and religious forces and tendencies which intend to divide the Tamil race on the basis of artificial differences” Thirumozhi added.
He added that the movement would create awareness among the public about the divisive forces and would eventually, gain strength as a political force.
"Membership drive is being conducted in all districts of Tamilnadu”, Thirumozhi said.
