The Nilgiris : The family and relatives of a man who was brutally assaulted by a gang of men allegedly from AIADMK, questioned the police, as to why no legal action was taken on the assaulters, inspite of submitting CCTV footage, as evidence.

Prakash (33) an employee of Bajaj Finance in Ooty was thrashed by a gang of 20 men. A complaint was lodged by the victim at B1 police station.
Alleging that no action was taken against the offenders, the family of the victim laid seige to B-1 police station, today.
They also noted that 'Boat house' Mohan, one of the person from the gang is an AIADMK supporter. Accusing that the police are purposefully delaying in filing the FIR, the irate family members of the victim escalated the issue to the Superintendent of Police.
