During the meeting, the child welfare committee members inculcated the duties and responsibilities of trustees who run child homes and discussed about the legal aspects of running homes under various child protection laws.
The children home trustees spoke about operational hurdles faced by them and learnt all about the legal remedies for running the homes.
District child welfare committee members Munirathnam, Mary, Kannan and others took part in the meeting.
