Coimbatore : Various grievances including betterment of road facilities, street lights, drinking water facility, health, hygiene and other basic amenities were presented as petitions at the public grievance meeting held today headed by Shravan Kumar, Corporation Commissioner.

Out of the total 105 petitions, three petitions were addressed immediately.
A beneficiary from Central zone was granted permission to change his water connection from commercial to residential connection, another petitioner's request on changing the name in property tax was redressed followed by another petitioner who requested to remove wastes from.his locale.

Out of 105 petitions, 31 were from the east zone, 20 from the west zone, 14 from the north zone, 15 from the south zone and 19 from the central zone. Three petitions were directed to Assistant Commissioner (Planning), one for town planning, one for town development department and one petition for water supply department.
The CCMC Commissioner and Special Officer Sravan Kumar ordered the concerned Zonal Asst Commissioners to take necessary actions on the petitions.
Zonal Asst Commissioners - T.R Ravi, Saravanan, Annadurai, Senthilkumar Rathnam, Selvan, Mahesh Kanakaraj, Asst Commissioner (Placement) Mohanasundari, Executive Engineer Gnanavel, Corporation Executive Engineer (planning) Ravichandran, Santhosh Kumar Town development Officer, Accountants Lakshmi Prabha (Water Dept), Manickam (Provident fund) and other corporation officials and public took part in the meeting.
