Coimbatore : Irate public and relatives of a beautician Shobana (25) of Idayarpalayam who had died in suspicious circumstances at a beauty parlor staged a road block demanding thorough police investigation into the death of the woman.

According to sources, Shobana (25) daughter of Padmanabhan and Baby of Idyarpalayam was working as a beautician at a beauty parlor in Pappampatti pirivu here. The woman who had come to work this morning was found hanging in the beauty parlor in suspicious circumstances.
Sulur Police who arrived at the scene recovered the body and sent it for post mortem.
Alleging that there is foul play in the death of the woman, the relatives staged a road block near Coimbatore Medical College hospital. The Police removed the protesters forcefully and even arrested eight of them.
Assistant commissioner Ezhilarsu is holding talks with the protestors to disperse. Ongoing traffic was affected for more than half an hour due to the road block.
