Coimbatore : The city traffic police have filed cases on the two drunk men who created a ruckus near Saibaba colony by entering into an argument with the traffic police on duty.
Coimbatore : The city traffic police have filed cases on the two drunk men who created a ruckus near Saibaba colony by entering into an argument with the traffic police on duty.
The duo have been booked under IPC 341,353 506 (2). On Tuesday, the police arrested the duo at their native place, Thiruvennainallur in Villupuram district.
On Saturday, Palani and Murthy from Rathinapuri area were proceeding in their two wheeler without wearing helmets towards Saibaba Colony. A traffic police stopped them and demanded documents such as license, insurance and RC book.

During the check, the traffic police found them to be an inebriated state and questioned them.
The duo protested and lay prostrate on the road and created flutter in the area. They alleged that Police have been acting partial when it comes to vehicle checking.
"The policemen fail to stop over speeding buses and posh cars, they only target people in two-wheelers", the duo screamed. As they were in an inebriated state, they were taken away by the police.
