Baby, a Head Constable at Race Course C-2 police station was on duty at the District Collectorate on Grievance Day, held on July 9. While many were gathered at the Collectorate to submit their petitions, Baby noticed a 50-year-old physically-challenged petitioner collapse due to chest pain. She quickly administered first aid and rushed the ailing man in an auto to the Government Hospital for treatment.
Baby's act of kindness and presence of mind in administering first aid to a man with a heart ailment won the hearts of the public at the Collectorate and Government Hospital.
Sumit Saran, the Commissioner of Police also appreciated her today and and awarded her a certificate.
