Based on a tip-off, the DVAC sleuths led by Inspector Geetha Lakshmi raided the Coonoor SRO and seized unaccounted cash of RS. 24,000 from the table of Sub registrar, Nizar Ahmed.
The DVAC officials conducted inquiry with Nizar Ahmed till late night and later took him to Ooty for further investigation.
