Tirupur: Alleging that the promoters of their residential colony have cheated them by not providing basic amenities like drinking water and electricity, the residents laid seige to the Tirupur Collectorate on Monday.
Tirupur: Alleging that the promoters of their residential colony have cheated them by not providing basic amenities like drinking water and electricity, the residents laid seige to the Tirupur Collectorate on Monday.
"Senthil Nagar promoters in Tirupur had deceived several people by seeking plots in Senthil Nagar on Tirupur - Palladam to Arivili Nagar. They have not provided basic facilities to the residents who have living there", allege the residents.
"Several families have invested at Senthil Nagar. Lured by the promises of the promoters several people brought houses from ranging from 5-7 lakhs. Even after four years, the promoters have failed to provide basic amenities like roads, electricity and water connection", the residents lament.
Hence, they have laid seige to the District Collector to take legal action on the promoters.
