Coimbatore : Based on a tip-off that Muslim youth from the city are in touch with banned Islamic Movements, the Coimbatore City Police conducted raids at the houses of three suspects on Monday.
Coimbatore : Based on a tip-off that Muslim youth from the city are in touch with banned Islamic Movements, the Coimbatore City Police conducted raids at the houses of three suspects on Monday.

Acting on the tip-off, three police teams raided Peelamedu, Ukkadam and Karumbu Kadai areas. The residences raided were that of Auto Fazil of Karumbu Kadai, Muhammed Burkhan of Peelamedu and Sadam Hussain of MGR Nagar, Ukkadam.

The city police seized a mobile phone and two sim cards from the residence of Sadam Hussain. Meanwhile, based on the evidence collected, the city police booked the three suspects under the IPC section 153 A and 505 1C.
