Manikandan (37) son of Palanisamy, living in Karunanidhi Nagar which comes under the Ramanathapuram police station limits had posted 'inflammatory' content about Hindu-Muslim issue in his social media page. He even issued death threats to people belonging to Muslim community.
As his post hurts the sentiments of people belonging to one religion and intents to trigger communal violence, Manikandan was arrested by Inspector Latha of Ramanathapuram police station under IPC Section 153A (promoting enmity).
