The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisamy retorted to the issue raised saying, "Toll gates were started during the DMK tenure and since DMK boasts of having more MPs, they themselves should talk about this issue in the Parliament and seek a resolution." The CM's mocking retort is reportedly in line with his previous allegations that DMK had won the 2019 Lok Sabha polls through false promises.
