Coimbatore : A minor fire occurred at the GKNM Hospital here on Wednesday night.
Fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the patients were safely moved to other wards, say reports.
There were no immediate reports of any casualties. According to sources, "The fire could have triggered due to a power shortage. The hospital staff alerted the fire and rescue department, after they noticed smoke billowing out of a room where medicines were stored. The situation is presently under control."
