The Nilgiris : The Nilgiris District Collector, Innocent Divya distributed welfare measures to the tune of Rs.8 lakhs to the differently abled at a special camp organised on behalf of the District Rehabilitation Centre.
At the special camp which was organised at the Tribal Cultural Centre, the District Collector distributed battery-operated vehicles, crutches and sewing machines to the differently- abled beneficiaries. Aadhaar enrollment and medical certificates were also done at the camp for the beneficiaries.
The Collector also distributed cheques for differently abled pensioners and ordered that petitions which were received at the camp should be acted upon immediately, by the concerned officials.
