Top police officials from eight districts including Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri, and Krishnagiri took part in the meeting held at the police training grounds here on Saturday.
Periaiah, IG (West zone), DIGs Karthikeyan, Pradip Kumar, Commissioner of Police of Coimbatore, Salem and Tirupur districts and SPs from all the eight district took part in the meeting.
The DGP stressed on augmenting crime control and prevention, expediting of pending cases in respective districts and meeting exigencies in the respective districts.
